Golden Nugget Overview
Golden Nugget is an established brand worldwide with locations in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada, Biloxi, Mississippi and Lake Charles, Louisiana. In November 2013, GoldenNuggetCasino.com was launched with the core goal of extending their customer experience to their digital offering in New Jersey. Since migrating to the Open Platform System (OPS), Golden Nugget has been a consistent market leader. Supported by the largest selection of desktop and mobile games available in New Jersey – a user-friendly interface, best-in-class rewards and Atlantic City based Customer Service, Golden Nugget is the fastest growing online casino operator in New Jersey.
The SG Digital Solution:
Golden Nugget Weekly Cash Back Loyalty (OPS online)
Land-based operators like Golden Nugget rely heavily on a good loyalty system that awards loyalty points accompanied with a separate VIP online patron retention program that does not contain traditional loyalty tiers or points.
The Golden Nugget Weekly Cash Back Loyalty scheme uses the Open Platform System (OPS). OPS loyalty allows patrons to redeem loyalty points for cash. All other reward types are managed by the promotions interface. For example, in a promotion where a patron earns an amount of loyalty, or loses an amount of money, or belongs to a certain loyalty tier, they can be rewarded with a cash back amount. This type of reward would be covered by an OPS promotion that has conditions associated with the patron’s loyalty tier status, game play activity and the issued bonus.
Loyalty tier settings are customizable by operator, however the number of tiers and their configuration do not change based on whether the patron is playing in a web, desktop or mobile client. The loyalty program and earn rates remain the same for each tier configuration regardless of interface.

- Upon launch, Golden Nugget immediately had the largest portfolio of gaming content (over 350 titles) available in the NJ market.
- Within one month of the migration, Golden Nugget set a record high for their Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR) in a single month.
- Within 10 months of the migration, Golden Nugget secured the #1 spot in terms of operator GGR per month and now continually compete and rotate between the top two ‘GGR per operator’ rankings each month.

Land-based Casino Solution:
The Open Platform System (OPS) was successfully integrated into Caesars global brick & mortar Total Rewards program .The OPS acts as the unifying gateway between your various interactive and offline traditional gaming initiatives. As a regulated piece of software, we are able to connect the Open Platform System (OPS) directly into your brick & mortar Casino Management System’s (CMS) loyalty module & APIs. As a sophisticated account and transaction management engine, the OPS can then provide a single sign-on service and play traffic cop for the various gaming and loyalty accrual activities.
This integration to Caesars’ global corporate loyalty program allowed patrons to play online white earning tier points and having the option to redeem loyalty currency (comp points) for either free online play or offline redemption via Total Rewards on property.
